lovely little girl was holding two apples with
both hands.
Her mum came in and softly asked her little
daughter with a smile: "My sweetie, could you
give your mum one of your two apples?"
The girl looked up at her mum for some
seconds, then she suddenly took a quick bite
on one apple, and then quickly on the other.
The mum felt the smile on her face freeze. She
tried hard not to reveal her disappointment.
Then the little girl handed one of her bitten
apples to her mum,and said: "Mummy, here
you are. This is the sweeter one." She handed
her mum the sweeter of the two apples.
No matter who you are, how experienced you
are, and how knowledgeable you think you are,
always delay judgement. Give others the
privilege to explain themselves. What you see
may not be the reality. Never conclude for
others.

…..A very poor man
lived with his wife. ~ O Henry
One day, his wife, who had very long hair
asked him to buy her a comb for her hair
to grow well and to be well-groomed.
The man felt very sorry and said no. He
explained that he did not even have
enough money to fix the strap of his
watch he had just broken. She did not
insist on her request.
The man went to work and passed by a
watch shop, sold his damaged watch at
a low price and went to buy a comb for
his wife.
He came home in the evening with the
comb in his hand ready to give to his
wife.
He was surprised when he saw his wife
with a very short hair cut.
She had sold her hair and was holding a
new watch band.
Tears flowed simultaneously from their
eyes, not for the futility of their actions,
but for the reciprocity of their love.

A touching moral story

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry

after being called in for an urgent

surgery. He answered the call asap,

changed his clothes & went directly to

the surgery block.

He found the boy’s father pacing in the

hall waiting for the doctor.

On seeing him, the dad yelled: “Why did

you take all this time to come? Don’t you

know that my son’s life is in danger?

Don’t you have any sense of

responsibility?”

The doctor smiled & said: “I am sorry, I

wasn’t in the hospital & I came as fast

as I could after receiving the call…… And

now, I wish you’d calm down so that I

can do my work”

“Calm down?! What if your son was in

this room right now, would you calm

down? If your own son dies now what

will you do??” said the father angrily

The doctor smiled again & replied: “I will

say what Job said in the Holy Book

“From dust we came & to dust we return,

blessed be the name of God”. Doctors

cannot prolong lives. Go & intercede for

your son, we will do our best by God’s

grace”

“Giving advises when we’re not

concerned is so easy” Murmured the

father.

The surgery took some hours after which

the doctor went out happy, “Thank

goodness!, your son is saved!” And

without waiting for the father’s reply he

carried on his way running. “If you have

any questions, ask the nurse!!”

“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait

some minutes so that I ask about my

son’s state” Commented the father when

seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor

left.

The nurse answered, tears coming down

her face: “His son died yesterday in a

road accident, he was at the burial when

we called him for your son’s surgery. And

now that he saved your son’s life, he left

running to finish his son’s burial.”

MORAL : Never judge anyone….. because

you never know how their life is & what

they’re going through”

A 9yr old boy went to an ice cream shop.

Waiter: what do u want?

Boy: how much a con ice cream costs?

Waiter: sh20
Then the boy checked his pocket &  asked "cost of small cone? "

Irritated waiter said "sh15"
,
Boy ordered a small cone & paid bill then left

When the waiter came to pick the empty plate tears rolled down his eyes

The boy had left sh3 as tip for him!

Dad smiled and the  passengers looked at the 24yr old boy pitying his childish behaviour

Suddenly, he again exclaimed," Dad look the clouds are running with us! "
The  passengers couldn't resist and one of them said to the dad," why don't u take ur son to a good doctor? "

The old man smiled and said,

" I did and we are just coming from hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today "

why humility?

A rider came across some soldiers trying to move a heavy log without success.
The corporal was standing by as the  men struggled.
 The rider asked the corporal why he wasnt helping. The corporal replied,"I am the corporal ,i give orders". The rider dismounted,went up & stood by the soldiers & helped them move the log.
The rider quietly mounted his horse & went 2the corporal & said,"next time ur men need help, send for the commander in chief.

After leaving, the soldiers & corporal found out that the rider was George Washington. >>simplicity & humility are two hallmarks of greatness.
